Multisensory learning is based on the premise that a healthy brain involves proper integration of the entire sensory system. Touch, taste, smell, sight, hearing, and perception of movement through the vestibular and proprioceptive systems comprise the entire human sensory system. Children, and especially children who are unique learners, need to learn how to use their brains more effectively and more easily. Children have a developmental need to learn. Learning to organize their brain will help a child’s brain work better.
